Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Smart Printer - Print & Scan (the "App" or "Service"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Subscription Terms.

2. App Store and Google Play Terms

If you download the App from Apple App Store or Google Play Store, your use of the App may also be subject to the terms, rules, and policies of the relevant platform. If these Terms conflict with mandatory platform rules, the applicable platform rules may control to the extent required.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old or the minimum age required in your country or region to use the App. If you are under the age of majority, you may use the App only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

4. License to Use the App

Subject to these Terms, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App for personal, non-commercial use unless otherwise expressly permitted.

You do not acquire ownership of the App, software, source code, design, content, trademarks, or other intellectual property.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, abusive, or deceptive purposes; reverse engineer, decompile, modify, copy, distribute, sell, lease, or sublicense the App except where permitted by law; bypass subscription, payment, entitlement, access control, security, or technical restrictions; interfere with the App, servers, networks, billing systems, printers, or third-party services; use unauthorized automation or scraping; print, import, create, or share content that infringes rights, violates laws, or harms others; or use the App in a way that violates Apple App Store, Google Play, printer manufacturer, or third-party service policies.

6. Printing, Scanning, and User Content

You are responsible for the files, photos, scanned documents, contacts, notes, email attachments, web pages, and other content that you choose to print, scan, import, process, or share through the App. You represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions to use and print that content.

The App provides utility tools for mobile printing and scanning. It does not review the legality, accuracy, quality, completeness, or suitability of your selected content.

7. Printer and Network Compatibility

Printing availability depends on your device, operating system, printer model, local network, Android print service, iOS printing support, printer protocol support, and network configuration. We do not guarantee that every printer can be discovered, connected, configured, or used successfully.

Web printing may depend on the target website, network availability, WebView behavior, page layout, and printer support. Some pages may not load, format, or print as expected.

8. Local Data and Backups

Some data may be stored locally on your device, including print history, recent printers, imported files, generated PDFs, scans, cache data, and preferences. You are responsible for managing, exporting, and backing up local data where supported. Deleting the App, changing devices, clearing storage, or system failure may result in loss of local data.

9. Subscriptions and Paid Features

The App may offer paid features, subscriptions, premium tools, usage limit changes, advanced printing or productivity features, and other benefits displayed in the App or on the purchase screen.

Purchases made through Apple App Store or Google Play Store are processed by the relevant platform. Subscription terms, billing, cancellation, renewal, and refund rules are described in our Subscription Terms and the applicable app marketplace rules.

10. Third-Party Services

The App may integrate with third-party services, SDKs, APIs, platforms, app stores, payment processors, analytics providers, support tools, system print services, local network printers, WebView content, sharing targets, and email apps. Third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

11. Intellectual Property

The App, including software, design, interface, graphics, logos, text, features, and other materials, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our name, trademarks, branding, or assets without prior written permission.

12. Feedback

If you provide feedback, suggestions, ideas, or bug reports, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to use them for product improvement and related purposes without compensation, unless prohibited by law.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the App if you violate these Terms, misuse the App, create legal risk, violate platform rules, or harm other users, us, or third parties. You may stop using the App at any time. Uninstalling the App does not automatically cancel an active subscription.

14. Disclaimers

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, compatibility, non-infringement, and uninterrupted operation.

We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, secure, compatible with all printers or devices, available at all times, or meet your expectations.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, business opportunities, files, print jobs, or local data arising from or related to your use of the App.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the App will not exceed the amount you paid for the App or subscription during the twelve months before the claim arose, or USD 10, whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some limitations may not apply to you.

16. Applicable Law and Mandatory Rights

These Terms will be interpreted and applied in accordance with applicable laws and any mandatory consumer protection, privacy, data protection, subscription, refund, or other legal rights that may apply based on your country or region of residence. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be excluded or waived under applicable law.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted in the App, on our website, or through other appropriate channels. Continued use after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms unless applicable law requires additional consent.
