1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Smart Printer - Print & Scan (the "App"). These Terms are adapted for the Android version distributed through Google Play. By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Subscription Terms.

2. Google Play Terms

If you download the App from Google Play, your download, installation, updates, store listing access, ratings, reviews, payments if any, refunds if any, and use of Google Play services may also be subject to Google Play terms, rules, and policies. If these Terms conflict with mandatory Google Play rules, the applicable Google Play rules may control to the extent required.

3. Eligibility and No In-App Account

You must be at least 18 years old to download, access, or use the App. If you are under 18, you must not use the App, even with permission or supervision from a parent or legal guardian. By using the App, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.

The App does not require users to create an in-app account. References to "you" or "users" mean people who download, install, access, or use the App, not registered account holders.

4. License to Use the App

Subject to these Terms, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on Android devices that you own or control for personal, non-commercial, lawful use unless otherwise expressly permitted.

You do not acquire ownership of the App, software, source code, design, content, trademarks, or other intellectual property.

7. Printing, Scanning, and User Content

You are responsible for the files, photos, scanned documents, contacts, notes, email attachments, web pages, and other content that you choose to print, scan, import, process, share, or send through the App. You represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions to use and print that content.

The App provides utility tools for mobile printing and scanning. It does not review the legality, accuracy, quality, completeness, or suitability of your selected content.

8. Printer, Network, and Web Compatibility

Printing availability depends on your Android device, operating system, printer model, local network, Android print service, printer protocol support, router settings, network configuration, and third-party service behavior. We do not guarantee that every printer can be discovered, connected, configured, or used successfully.

Web printing depends on the target website, network availability, WebView behavior, page layout, website permissions, and printer support. Some pages may not load, format, or print as expected.

9. Local Data and Backups

Some data may be stored locally on your device, including print history, recent printers, imported files, generated PDFs, scanned documents, cache data, and preferences. You are responsible for managing, exporting, and backing up local data where supported. Deleting the App, changing devices, clearing storage, or system failure may result in loss of local data.

10. Paid Features and Subscriptions

The current Android version does not provide subscriptions or paid digital features. You do not need to pay a subscription fee to use the currently available Android features.

If the Android version offers subscriptions, paid digital features, premium tools, usage limit changes, or other paid benefits in the future, those purchases will be presented before purchase and will be processed through Google Play Billing or another applicable marketplace mechanism allowed by platform policy. We will update these Terms, the Subscription Terms, the Privacy Policy, Google Play Data Safety disclosures, store text, and in-app purchase screens before or when such paid features become available.

The App will not direct Google Play users to bypass Google Play Billing for paid digital content, app functionality, or subscriptions unless applicable Google Play policy expressly permits it.

11. Third-Party Services

The App may integrate with third-party services, SDKs, APIs, platforms, Google Play, Firebase, analytics providers, support tools, Android system print services, local network printers, WebView content, sharing targets, email apps, file pickers, document scanners, and other device components. Third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for third-party service content, availability, security, policies, or behavior except where applicable law requires otherwise.

By using the App, you understand that information may be processed as described in the Privacy Policy.

13. Intellectual Property

The App, including software, design, interface, graphics, logos, text, features, and other materials, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our name, trademarks, branding, or assets without prior written permission.

14. Feedback

If you provide feedback, suggestions, ideas, or bug reports, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to use them for product improvement, troubleshooting, and related purposes without compensation, unless prohibited by law.

We may suspend or terminate access to the App if you violate these Terms, misuse the App, create legal risk, violate Google Play or other platform rules, or harm other users, us, or third parties. You may stop using the App at any time.

16. Disclaimers

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, compatibility, non-infringement, and uninterrupted operation.

We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, secure, compatible with all printers or devices, available at all times, or meet your expectations.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, business opportunities, files, print jobs, or local data arising from or related to your use of the App.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the App will not exceed the amount you paid for the Android version of the App during the twelve months before the claim arose, or USD 10, whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some limitations may not apply to you.

18. Applicable Law and Mandatory Rights

These Terms will be interpreted and applied in accordance with applicable laws and any mandatory consumer protection, privacy, data protection, refund, or other legal rights that may apply based on your country or region of residence. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be excluded or waived under applicable law.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted in the App, on our website, or through other appropriate channels. Continued use after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms unless applicable law requires additional consent.
